Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Region website of the Antique Car Club of America. Our mission is to provide an online resource for all antique and classic car enthusiats in the Denver, CO area and the greater Rocky Mountain Region. To post messages in the forum, upload pictures, or submit content, you'll need to register. It's easy and you don't need to be a member of the Rocky Mountain Region or even the AACA. However, we do encourage you to join us, you'll have a great time! The AACA is the oldest and one of the largest collector car hobby organizations in the country. Founded in 1935, the organization began its judging program in 1952. To be eligible for AACA judging and awards, vehicles must be at least 25 years old and be represented and restored to the same condition the factory would have delivered the vehicle to a dealer. |

It’s not often that you hear AACA being mentioned on national TV. But, as I was watching a few hours of the Barrett/Jackson collector car auction on the Speed Channel; a car came across the auction block with an AACA First Place tag on the front license plate. The camera zoomed in on it and the announcers spent several minutes talking about the value that tag added to the car. Their advice to people looking for a car to buy was “trust that tag.” … It means the car has gone through a judging program, that the car is authentic and correct and that it was restored to factory specifications. What an endorsement! |
